PANJIM: Kaykee Youth Club, Dongorim-Majorda organised 35 days summer football coaching Camp for boys under-15 years at Majorda church ground, recently.
In all, 40 boys participated. The camp was conducted by coach Custodio Almedia while Keegan Fernandes assisted. The trainees were taught ball techniques such as control, dribbling and other aspects of the football and were also shown video clippings of various World Cup matches and injury treatments.
On the concluding day, all the trainees were awarded gifts and certificates by chief guest Remedious Fernandes, former Sesa Sports Club and Goa goalkeeper.
Earlier, Anjulo P. Fernandes, chairperson of Kaykee Youth Club welcomed the gathering and later proposed the vote of thanks.
