PANJIM: The 8th Goa Swimathon will be held at the Bambolim Bay on March 24 and 25 between 6.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.
Organized by Enduro Sports Goa, The Goa Swimathon has gained momentum over the last seven years and is set to attract swimmers, both beginners and professionals from across the country and the world.
The event is supported by the NRB Group (1930 Vasco), Drishti Marine and the Indian Army.
The competition will consist of five categories: 250m Sprint Swim, 1km and 2km along with 5km Half-Olympic that was introduced in the 5th edition and the 10km Olympic distance introduced for the first time in 2017.
Registrations are open till March 13 and swimmers can register for the event at www.endurosportsgoa.com. fans will be able to catch all the action from designated locations on Bambolim beach on both the days.
