Moira led by one goal in the first session of play when Craig Menezes getting hold of the ball slotted it home.
Changing ends, Moira further inflated the lead in the 62nd minute through a long floater by David D’Souza.
At Candolim ground, Nerul Sports Club scored a hard fought 3-2 win over Holiday Sports club Arpora. Thomas D’Souza (2) and Paul Cardoz scored for the winners while Joyston D’Souza and Francis Fernandes scored for Holiday Club Arpora.
At Rosary ground, Navelim, Carmel SC defeated Enfermos SC 6-3.
Carmel SC took the lead through Jovin Costa in the fifth minute with a stiff grounder after being set up by Royston Coutinho.
As the match progressed, Enfermos SC equalized through Richard Noronha in the 40th minute with a deft placement that gave chance to the rival goalkeeper.
Crossing over, Carmel SC started with a renewed sense of purpose. They played good short passes and made it 2-1 through Joseph Dias’ well composed shot and Jovin Costa further added to the tally in the 53rd minute, giving them much confidence.
There was no slowing down for Carmel SC as Royston Coutinho joined the party with the fourth goal after being set up by Joseph Dias in the 65th minute.
However, Enfermos SC did not give up and reduced the margin through Richard Noronha in the 73rd minute and Sintlin Vaz in the 79th minute.
At the other end, Carmel SC pumped in two more goals through Joseph Dias Jess Pinto.
