PANJIM: Aashrun Gautam will meet Yash Kunkolienker while Tanisha Crasto will battle it out with Anjana Kumari, in the U-19 boys and girls singles finals respectively in the 4th All Goa Major Ranking Badminton Tournament, organised by Goa Badminton Associatio in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and SAG, at Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda. The U-17 boys final will be contested between Sushi Nayak and Arjun Fallary while Tanisha Crasto and Yasmin Sayed are the finalists in the U-17 girls singles category.
In the men’s singles special category for non ranked players, former State champion Sandip Kanji made it into the final where he will face Ishaan Verma for the title.
Promising player medals were awarded to Swayam Sardesai, Aniket Redkar, Suresh Pujari, Dhiti Lotlikar, Ashutosh Adhikari, Divyesh Shirsat, Sadik Attar, Aftab Ladji and Preeti Papshetty for their performances in preliminary matches.
