MAPUSA: ABC Arambol registered a 4-2 win over Arpora Sporting Club in the Anjuna Gymkhana Cup 2024 match played at Anjuna Gymkhana ground, Tembi, on Friday. ABC Arambol opened their account through Manuel Rodrigues in the 8th minute with a neat placement, 1-0.
Arpora Sporting equalised in the 12th minute through Veron Pereira who lobbed the ball over the ABC Arambol keeper to make it 1-1. Arpora SC colts took the lead in the 43rd minute when the Shumbham Malvankars shot was deflected from ABC Arambol Vivek’s leg into the goal, 2-1.
ABC Arambol equalised through Cypriano Rodrigues in the 46th minute to make it 2-2. ABC Arambol further moved ahead with Manuel Rodrigues scoring from a 25-yard free-kick, 3-2.
ABC Arambol netted their fourth goal through Myson in the dying minutes to make it 4-2. The man-of-the-match award was awarded to Manuel Rodrigues of ABC Arambol.
