PANJIM: ABC Arambol beat Xetrapal Sports Club 4-2 in the Goa Football Association Third Division League, at Siolim church ground, on Sunday.
Errol Mendes put Arambol ahead in the game in the fourth minute while Gaslie Correa consolidated the lead in the 23rd minute.
In the 25th minute, Xetrapal were awarded a penalty when Arambol player Johnson Rodrigues denied Xetrapal goal scoring opportunity and referee made no mistake in pointing towards the spot. Kanaya Govekar stepped up and coolly converted from the spot.
However after much pressing Xetrapal SC restored parity through Kanaya, who scored his brace in the 38th minute.
In the second half, Astle Fernandes gave Arambol lead once again in the 48th the minute and later Sectus Brito made it 4-2 in the 51st minute.
