MARGAO: Abhijit Naik of Infinity Gym, Margao emerged champion at the 5th All Goa Sports Physique Championship, organized by Maxsan Fitness Hub, conducted by Goa Body Building & Fitness Association, at Lohia Maidan, Margao, recently. He pocketed Rs 10,000.
Namuant Sawant of Sawant Fitness, Corlim bagged the second spot and took home Rs 6,000 while Gauresh Kinlekar of UFC Gym, Margao settled for the third place and had to be content with Rs 4,000.
Rahal Rametri of Pitbull Gym, St Cruz came in fourth position and Sachin Patil of Sawant Fitness Gym, Corlim finished fifth and took home Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively.
The championship was held as per the rules and regulations of Indian Body Builders Federation.
