Alex talked to the media briefly at Bambolim after seeing the progress at the athletic track and when asked about his views said that it was too early to pass on any comments and that things would be clear only after the meeting which will be attended by the representatives of the respective National Olympic Committees. Soon after, CEO and Sports Secretary Keshav Chandra when asked about the works, was positive that everything would be ready since work was going according to the schedule. “We have deadlines, and we are adhering to them,” he added.

Alex was accompanied by the Portuguese delegate Artur Lopes, Sri Lankan Charles Wellington, Joao Costa Alegre, Franklin Palma of Cabo Verde and the full compliment of Macau Headquarters led by Jose Tavares. ACOLOP secretary Mario Rosa arrived early morning while Brazil’s Bernard Rozjman (vice-president) and the Mozambique’s delegate were expected later today.

The delegates also visited the venue for volleyball and basketball at Taleigao. At both sites, it was Keshav Chandra who briefed the delegates.
