Adarsh move into last eight

CALANGUTE, AUG 23
Hosts Adarsh Yuvak Sangh scored a hard fought solitary goal victory over Peddem Bom Vagator to move into the quarter-finals of All-Goa inter-village Mahabank Platinum Jubilee trophy soccer tournament sponsored by Bank of Maharashtra at Calangute Association ground, here on Monday.
Both teams began on a promising note but their forwards failed to find the net on a couple of occasions.
Stanley and Rajesh worked hard for Peddem while Sandesh and Paresh excelled for Adarsh.
Adarsh scored the all-important goal in the 55th minute  through Mauvin Britto. The score was goalless at half time.
