Aditee moves to fifth spot

PANJIM: Aditee Prabhugaonkar (1664) of Goa scripted a fine victory over WCM Isha Sharma (1754) of Karnataka to move to the fifth place with 6.5 points to be in medal contention at the end of the ninth round of the 26th National U-17 Girl’s Chess championship, at Bengaluru, on Friday.

WCM Swera Braganca (1484) drew with Varsha C R (1687) of Tamil Nadu to move to 5.5 points. 
In the open section, Shane Braganca (1750) lost to Arka Sengupta (1881) to remain on 4.5 points and Aayush Shirodkar (1363) also lost to Kalki Eshwar D to also remain on 3.5 points.
