FATORDA:Aguad got the better of Ambaji Virabhat 4-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Don Bosco inter-ward football tournament, at DBO ground, Fatorda on Sunday.
Aguad with its strong defence and acrobatic shots netted through Melvin Furtado, Maxwell Furtado’s brace and Slidenjoy Furtado in the 6th, 8th,9th and 12th minutes respectively while Ambaji Virabhat netted through Velroy Pinto and Savio Miranda in the 20th and 22nd minutes. In another match, Borda defeated Gupllem by a solitary goal which was scored by Stevan Barretto in the fourth minute to move into the quarter-finals.
