CURTORIM: Agxem beat Camarxett 3-2 to move into the quarter-finals of the Jose and Franky Memorial, played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim on Thursday.
Nickson Castahna scored the first goal of the match in the 10th minute for Agxem.
Ashton Casthana equalised for Camarxett. Standley Fernandes gave Agxem 2-1 lead before Nickson completed his brace in the 26th minute to make it 3-1.
In the dying minutes of second half, Camarxet made it 2-3 through James Fernandes.
With few minutes left, Camarxett tried their best to find the equaliser but Agxem team defended resolutely till the final whistle.
