PANJIM: Goa’s much-acclaimed coach Clifford Miranda, formerly of famous Odisha FC, who is yet to decide about his future assignment with either an ISL or I-League club, got an offer from the AIFF to coach the India Under-23 team.
It is learnt that Clifford had talks with the AIFF and his first assignment could be the 2024 AFC Under-23 Asian Cup qualifiers in coming September. However, nothing has been finalised as yet.
