Mahindra Rise won the toss and elected to bat, posting 87/8 opener Ankit Shastri’s 56 not out. Yuzvendra and Rajat clinched two wickets each for AIR India.
In reply, Air India chased the target in 11.2 overs with seven wickets in hand.
Aditya Kaushik’s 43 not out and Manvinder Bisla’s 30 runs were major contributions.
In the evening match, IOC secured a seven wicket win over CAG.
After winning the toss, CAG elected to bat and scored 84 after losing all their wickets.
Openers Ankit Lamba (0) and Jalaj Saxena (2) failed to deliver but Bandeep Singh (15), Ankur Julka (18) and Bhavesh Shetty (12) played vital knocks as they huffed and puffed to 84. Deepak Hooda claimed three wickets.
IOC’s opener Jay Bista played a Man-of-the-Match knock of 49 runs as they won by seven wickets.
