PANJIM: Aivao Youth Club defeated Carambolim Sports Club 3-1 in the second Division league, played at Taleigao groun, on Monday.
Aivao Youth Club broke the deadlock in the 40th minute through Damudar Naik. Just before the break Shidhart scored the goal in the 42th minute doubling the winners account.
As soon as the second half began, Vishal Korgoankar reduced the deficit for Carambolim SC.
In the 90+2 minute Rohit Gawas added the third goal for Aivao Youth Club.
At Don Bosco Oratory ground, Guirdolim Club trounced Varca SC 5-0.
Guirdolim Club dominated the game right from the beginning. Rayan Fernandes scored the first goal for Guirdolim Club in the 46th minute.
Presley Peixote and Godfress Mascarenhas scored a brace each for the winning team.
Fr Agnel Youth Sports Club beat Carmel Sports Club 3-1 in the second division league
Both the team began the game on the attacking note. Despite this neither side were able to break the deadlock in the first half.
Platint Andrade put Fr Agnel Youth Sports Club ahead in the game in the 50th minute. Soon in the next minute Clifton Fernandes doubled the score.
Fr Agnel scored their third goal through Pascoal Fernandes in the 71th minute.
Carmel Sports Club managed to score late in the game through Presily Gomes.
