A hat-trick by Ajay Diwadkar for Saligao SC was the main highlight of today’s match.
Ajay opened the account for Saligao SC in the 10th minute. But within two minutes, Thomas Gracias levelled 1-1 for CAC Cansaulim.
Ratesh Mandrekar doubled the lead for Saligao SC in the 14th minute and Ajay made it 3-1 in the 20th minute.
Ratesh Mandrekar increased the lead in the 40th minute. Thomas Diniz made it 2-4 for CAC Cansaulim in the 45th minute.
Ratesh again netted in the 47th minute while Ajay scored 6-2 and completed his hat-trick in the 53rd minute. Sachin Satarkar scored 7-2 for Saligao SC in the 60th minute.
On Tuesday, Rossman Cruz, Nagoa blanked Nuvem SC 3-0 to move into quarter-finals. Isacio Fernandes, Ryan D’Costa and Savio Fernandes scored.
