MARDOL: Akar FC edged past Mardol Youth Club 2-1 to lift the 1st Ponda Taluka invitation football trophy, organised by Football Club Mardol, at Farmagudi ground, recently.
Gauresh Khandeparkar netted a brace for Akar FC while Yuvraj pulled a goal back for Mardol.
Chief guest Yuvraj Velingkar, President of Football Club Mardol gave away prizes to the winners and runners up in the presence of Sandeep Naik and other dignitaries.
