PONDA: Akar Warriors beat Mahalasa Simepayin 1-0 in clinch the inter-ward PVK Panchayat soccer organised by Shivmangalsai 6-a-side Tiger Post football tournament, at Mangueshi ground, Mardol, on Sunday.
Akar Warriors Shubam Gaude scored a goal in the 2nd half.
Individual prizes are as follows best defender Kunal (Mahalasa Simepayin), best goalkeeper Hemant Borkar (Akar Warriors) and player of tournament Soham Gaude (Akar Warriors). Chief guest Shyam Gaude gave away the prizes in the presence of other dignitaries.
