FATORDA: Albert Developers defeated Nityanand SC by five wickets in the Babu Brothers SAG Cup match held at outside PJN Ground, on Wednesday.
Albert Developers won the toss and elected to field.
Batting first, Nityanand were bundled out for 86 runs in 18.2 overs.
Sumiran Amonkar was the highest scorer with 25 runs for Nityanand. Rohan Belekar (19) and Felix Dias (11) were the other two batsmen who crossed the double figures.
Amol Niguade (4) was the pick of the Albert Developers bowlers.
Mukhtar and Achit Shigan took two wickets each while
Abu Bhadgaonkar and Sarfarz Nawaz took a wicket each
Chasing a modest target, Albert Developers managed to chase the target losing five wickets.
Aditya Suryavansh scored 32 runs while Amol Niguade (16) and Vaibhav Govekar (14) were the other contributors.
For Nityanand, Chirag Kurana picked up two wickets
Albert Developers’ Amol Niguade was named the man of the match.
In another match, Badem SC defeated Mandovi Boys by 33 runs.
Badem scored 174 runs with Suraj Sawal scoring a brilliant half century (51). Koustub Lacehapana scored 40 runs as Mandovi were bowled out for 141.
