Post Resumption, FC Sanquelim were awarded a penalty after Assnora defender handled the ball in the danger zone. Rudresh Mandrekar stepped forward and made no mistake to convert the goal to give his team the lead.
FC Sanquelim in the 60th minute got lucky yet again after Assonora defender made a dirty tackle in the danger zone as the referee pointed to the dreaded spot. Anup Govekar who stepped forward calmly placed the ball into the nets to double the lead for his team.
Assnora United later went full in and got a consolation goal through Franco Colaco in the 65th minute.
FC Sanquelim then parked the bus as the scores remained 2-1 at full-time.
