Sacred Heart of Jesus Altar Boys, Ambajim scored a solitary goal win over Our Lady of Merces Altar Boys, Colva, in the finals to emerge champions in Altar Boys soccer tournament organised by Our Lady of Rosary Church, Fatorda, at Rosary ground, Fatorda on Sunday.
Ambajim’s Agnelo Soares scored the match-winner.
Fr Bolmax Pereira, assistant parish priest, Saviour of the World Church, Loutolim was the chief guest and gave away the prizes. Also present were, Fr Boulais D’Costa, parish priest, Our Lady of Rosary Church, Fatorda, Fr Milagres Dias, Fr Freddy Lobo, Milagres Soares and Agnelo.
