RAIA: Hat-trick by Asfin Pinto helped Ambelim Sports Club to defeat Sao Jose de Areal SC, 3-1, to enter into the quarter-finals of the Tavares Family inter-village football tournament, played at Cuncolim School playground, Cuncolim, on Wednesday.
Asfin Pinto scored the first goal in the 5th minute of a pass from Garry Fernandes. He doubled the lead in the 11th minute capitalising on a cross from Rozwin Fernandes. Asfin completed his hat-trick in the 15th minute of a pass received from Kiran Hattikar. The only goal for Sao Jose de Areal SC was netted in the second session by Listen Mascarenhas.
