CUNCOLIM:Ambelim Sports Club got the better of Rossman Cruz, Nagao 2-0 to enter in the quarter-finals of the Rising Cup inter-village football tournament organised by Rising Club of Sanvorcotta, at Cuncolim School ground, Cuncolim, on Monday.
Stevan Pinto gave his team the lead off a pass from Samson Simoes in the 27th minute. Later, Stevan doubled the lead for Ambelim SC after capitalizing on Samson Fernandes’ cross.
Jude Fernandes of Ambelim SC was adjudged as the man-of-the-match.
