CHINCHINIM: Ambelim SC shot-out UC Benaulim 7-6 via the tie-breaker to move into the semi-finals of the 2nd CRCC Cup organised by CRC Chinchinim, at CRC Chinchinim ground, on Saturday.
Benaulim’s Joel Cardozo netted the first goal of the match in the 37th minute. Three minutes later, Joel Cardozo equalised for Ambelim SC.
In the tie-breaker, Ambelim SC netted through Ralph Fernandes, Benson Fernandes, Perryson Fernandes, Sanio Fernandes and Hayden Pinto while Julus Gomes, Jaison Pereira, Rizwan Ratos, Rudy Fernandes and Osbourne Fernandes scored for UC Benaulim.
