DICARPALE: Ambelim Sports Club ousted Maina Sports Club by a solitary goal to move into the quarter- finals of the Our Lady of Fatima Cup organised by Dicarpale SC, at Dicarpale panchayat ground, on Tuesday.
Ambelim Sport Club scored the first goal of the match in the 45th minute through Blasco Fernandes.
Minutes later, Maina Sports Club had good chance to equalise through Clifton Barbosa and Millagres Fernandes but both shot wide.
Maina tried their best to get back in the game but the Ambelim defence stood stong till the final whistle.
