PANJIM: International Master Audi Ameya added another feather to his cap with a podium finish at the 2nd G H Raisoni Memorial All India Fide Rapid Rating Chess Tournament 2021, organised by the Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation in association with GH Raisoni Sports and Cultural Foundation, at the GH Raisoni Institute of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, recently.
Ameya has a rapid rating of 2094 and was the 10 seed at the beginning of the tournament.
He beat the first seed GM Debashis Das (2565) of Orissa, WFM Srishti Pandey (1962) of Nagpur and CM Kushagra Mohan(1792) of Telangana being his memorable performances in the tournament, tallying 8 wins out of possible 9 rounds.
There were in all 343 participants from all over India.
