PANJIM: The Goa Cricket Association has announced the senior men’s team for Vijay Hazare trophy as the State will begin their campaign against Baroda on February 21 at Surat, Gujarat.
Amit Verma has been named the captain and the team will leave for Surat, Gujarat on Friday.
The team will undergo a regular covid test on February 13 at their hotel followed by the second and third covid tests on February 15 and 17.
The teams will be able to practice after the results of the Covid test would be declared on February 18.
Goa are scheduled to play their second match against Gujarat on February 22 at Surat and Chattisgarh on February 24. Goa will play Tripura and Hyderabad in their last two games on February 26 and 27.
The semi-finals are scheduled for March 11 while the final is slated for March 14.
