MAPUSA: Amravati SC managed to edge past Nauxim SC by 2-1 margin in the GFA’s Second Division playoff held at St Cruz ground, here, on Monday.
Sachin Mardol put his team Nauxim unit ahead in the added time of the first session.
However on crossing ends Amravati colts pinned their rivals in their own territory and struck twice in the 58th minute through Dipraj Naik and Johnny Gaonkar in the 67th minute, to give full three points for his team.
