PANJIM: Angela Rajan Naik, bronze medalist at the Asian Taekwondo Championship 2016 has been appointed as a member of the Referee Committee of the Commonwealth Taekwondo Union (CTU).
She is the first Indian to receive such an appointment in CTU.
“The appointment as CTU Referee Member is a best gift. I will always keep India’s flag flying high at the Nationals and Internationals arena, be it as a player or International referee. I have worked hard to reach where I am today with my dedication to this Korean Martial Art Taekwondo since its introduction in Goa in 1986,” said Angela.
