SANGUEM: Goan talent Anil Gaonkar signed a 2-year deal with Indian Super League side, Kerala Blasters FC following his successful season with Vasco Sports Club in the Goa Professional League.
The Blasters also presented club jerseys and a Letter of Appreciation to the Sanguem MLA Prasad Gaonkar as a token gratitude for the support shown to Anil.
After the winger became the first player from the Sanguem Taluka to be signed by an ISL Club, their constituency MLA Prasad Gaonkar quickly reached to players door to congratulate him. “Today is one of the happiest day for all Sangekars (residents of Sanguem Taluka) as Anil Gaonkar has been selected to play for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters.”
