PANJIM: Anjana Kumari will battle it out against Manjushri Raut in the U-17 girls singles final while Tejas Tendulkar will meet Sushil Nayak in the U-15 boys final of the all-Goa major ranking badminton tournament organised by Shuttler’s Club in collaboration with Goa Badminton Association and SAG, at Multipurpose Hall, Fatorda.
Yasmin Sayed will vie against Lydia Barreto for the U-15 girls title. In the U-13 boys and girls finals, Aashutosh Dhavalikar will face Rudra Dukle while Arshia Gautam to face Manpreet Kaur.
The following are the semi-finals results: U-17 girls: Anjana Kumari bt Rhea Mallya 21-5, 21-14; Manjushri Raut bt Lydia Barreto 21-14, 19-21, 21-9.
U-15 boys: Sushil Nayak bt Arjun Fallary 21-11, 21-15; Tejas Tendulkar bt Soham Khandeparkar 23-21, 15-21, 21-13. Girls: Yasmin Sayed by Rhea Mallya 21-9, 21-12; Lydia Barreto bt Arshia Gautam 21-9, 21-10.
