SALIGAO: Anjuna Gymkhana Sports Club booked their place in the finals of the 12th Reira Soccer Cup, organised by Saligao Sporting Club with a hard fought 1-0 win over CDJ Ribandar, played at Saligao ground, here on Wednesday.
It was the Anjuna colts who took the lead in the first half when Nilesh sent a fine through pass to well positioned Pawan Dhargalkar who coolly placed the ball into the goal.
CDJ Ribandar side went all out in search of the equaliser on crossing ends, but the last line of Anjuna defence held to their one goal lead till the final whistle.
Anjuna Gymkhana will now take on PVC Parra in the finals slated for February 11.
