PANJIM: Goa’s Michel Castanha has been selected in the India National football squad which will participate in the Turkish Women’s Cup from February 25.
Michel who plays as a defender is the lone Goan player in the National squad.
The GFA has congratulated Michel for securing a place in the India team. Churchill Alemao, GFA President, praised the Curtorim-based girl for keeping Goa’s flag flying high.
