PANJIM: Anshuman Agarwal edged past Shantesh Mapsekar 3 -2 to take home the sub junior boys singles trophy, at the All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis tournament organised by Don Bosco Oratory, Panjim in collaboration with Goa Table Tennis Association, at Don Bosco Oratory Hall, Panjim.
The Sub-Junior Girls crown went the way of Trisha Verlekar as she beat Sneha Mesta 3-0.
Trisha also won the cadet girls singles title to complete her double crown haul, for the second successive tournament in running.
In cadet girls final, Trisha did not have to sweat it out much against her opponent Leoma Fernandes, who she defeated with a 3 -0 margin.
Aaron Farias registered a similar 3-0 win over Khushal Naik to walk away with the cadet boys singles title. Reshan Shaikh was at his best as he cruised past Atharv Dulapkar 3–0 to emerge winner in the mini cadet boys section while Ruchi Kirtani was in cruise control to record a 3-0 win over Pradnya Caro and emerge triumphant in mini cadet girls.
Fr Ralin De Souza, Director, DBO, and Noel Estibeiro, Chief Referee graced the closing function. Following are the finals results:
