PANJIM: Anura Prabhu Desai reached the Women’s singles as well as doubles semi-finals at the All-India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2017 held in Bangalore, on Friday.
Anura who is seeded second defeated Shruti Mundada [5] 21-16, 21-17 to reach the semis where she will meet Telengana’s Vrushali G.
In Women’s doubles quarters, Anura partnering Haritha M. H. [3] beat Mahima Aggarwal and Sanjana Santosh [7] 21-17, 8-21, 21-19. They will now be up against top seeds Agna Anto and Sneha Santhilal for a place in the final.
