Anurag scored six points with five wins and two draws from the nine rounds. In the process, Anurag went on to defeat three Grand Masters which included Bitton Richard of Philippines, RR Laxman of India and Schebler Gerhard of Germany and drew with Vahidov Tair of Uzbekistan.
