PANJIM: Anushri Naik, Trusha Hammanavar, Urvi Surlakar and Simran Kubal made their way into the Cadet Girls semi-finals on Day five of the Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias Table Tennis Championship, at the newly constructed arena at Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias in Miramar.
Anushri was on top of her game right from the start and eventually closed out the game at 3-0 (11-5, 11-7, 14-12) defeating Anuja Savoikar. In the second quarter-final, Trusha got the better of Leoma Fernandes 3-1 (11-5, 11-6, 7-11, 11-6).
In the third quarter-final, Urvi edged past Trisha Verlekar 3-2 (11-8, 11-9, 10-12, 10-12, 11-8) while Simran Kubal beat Sunidhi Savoikar 3-1 (11-4, 8-11, 11-2, 11-7) in the fourth quarter-final.
