MAINA: Aquem Baixo defeated Zoriwaddo Boys 5-3 via the tie-breaker and moved into the next round of the 4th Rebello Pandel Maina Cup, at St Rita’s Church ground, Maina, on Wednesday.
The first goal of the match was scored by Aquem Baixo’s Melroy in the sixth minute but the joy was short-lived as
Micky equalised for Davorlim in the 29th minute. In second-half, Mack netted the second for Davorlim in the 50th minute. Two minutes later, Jordan levelled terms for Aquem. In the tie-breaker, Aquem Baixo proved to be better shooters.
