MAPUSA: Arady B trounced Uzo 6-0 in the 3rd Friends Circle inter-ward tournament, organised by Friends Circle of Candolim, at Dr. Gustavo Monteiro ground, on Sunday.
It was the Arady B players that dominated right from the start of the match and scored at regular intervals.
At the breather, they led by a goal when in the 10th minute Mauger D’Souza scored off a long range shot taken from outside the penalty box.
On crossing ends, Arady B carried on their onslaught and hammered five more goals.
Sudhir Gawas tapped the ball beautifully at the right of Uzo keeper to make it 2-0.
In the 43rd minute, Cajie Colaco dribbled past the Uzo defender and placed the ball to the right of the keeper to make it 3-0.
It was due to some fine assists by Sunil Bandodkar that substitute Meetash and Cajie Colaco pumped in two more goals in the closing stages of the match.
