NUVEM: Sao Jose de Areal got the better of Arlem Youth Association 2-1 to move into the semi-finals of the 5th Mae Dos Pobres Cup, organised by Nuvem SC, at Jesus Mary Joseph Church ground, Nuvem, on Thursday.
Melvin Gauncar opened the account for Arlem Youth Association in the 4th minute. In the 15th minute, Alvito Moura equalised for Areal.
with scores level, Areal dominated the first half but failed to score much needed goal.
Changing ends, Areal started brightly but had to wait till the final minutes as Godfrey Costa scored the match-winner for Areal in the dying minutes of second half.
