PANJIM: Sao Jose de Areal Sports Club thumped Verna Sports Club 2-0 to enter the final of Loutolim Panchayat Cup football organized by Socio Cultural Club of Loutolim in association with Village Panchayat of Loutolim, at Montir ground, Loutolim. Areal led 1-0 at half time.
Areal forged ahead through Sylvester. They doubled their lead through Mariano in the dying minutes.
Areal will meet the winners of semi-final clash between Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda and St Anthony’s Sports Club, Assolda in the final on January 20.
