Arlem Youth Association started brightly and had the first chance in the opening quarter of the match when Vicky Gauncar found Allen Fernandes in the rival territory, but the latter’s shot was brilliantly denied by St Sebastiao keeper Savio Silva.
There was no much action with both teams contesting in midfield battle. St Sebastaio YC came close to scoring at the half-hour mark but Franjoy Furtado’s effort was dealt safely by rival defender. The final quarter of the frist half saw Arlem side attack in numbers but they failed to score.
