Arpora enter quarters

Arpora Sporting Club defeated Saligao Sporting Club 2-0 to enter the quarter-finals of F&C Trophy soccer tournament, organised by Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, Saligao at Saligao on Thursday.
The match was evenly balanced as both teams played fast and attacking football. However, it was Arpora forwards who took advantage and scored the first goal in the 20th minute.
In the second half, Uday of Saligao Sporting made several attempts but could not succeed. In the 70th minute, Arpora increased their lead to 2-0 through midfielder German Fernandes.
