NAVELIM: Assolda Veterans blanked Nuvem Veterans 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the 6th Navelim Veterans Football Cup organised by Navelim Veterans, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Sunday.
In the first half, Assolda took the lead through Peter Peixoto in the 20th minute. Peter scored his second in the 48th minute. Nuvem tried to get back in the game but their strikers lacked sharpness.
