RAIA: Assonora United Sports Club defeated Dunes Sport Club 3-2 to enter the quarter-finals of Musa memorial football tournament organised by Eagle Sports Club, at Sankhali municipality ground, on Wednesday.
Dunes Sport Club scored the first goal in the 17th minute through Anthony Lobo. Immediately, Assonora United SC equalised in the 24th minute through Sunil Desai after receiving a cross pass from Sanmesh Raul.
Assonora United SC further inflated the lead through Prajat Naik in the 33rd minute. Again in the 39th minute, Assonora United SC netted the third goal through Rohit Shirodkar after the ball was fed by Prajat Naik. Dunes Sport Club scored their second goal in the 55th minute through Arun Naik.
