PANJIM: Atharva Nadkarni won a double crown winning mini-cadets and cadet titles, Keval Tamhankar won the sub-junior boys crown at the all-Goa TT tournament organised by Kreeda Prabhodini, Porvorim.
Mini-cadet finals: Atharva Nadkarni beat Neelay Kamat 11-4, 11-4, 11-5. Cadet boys finals: Atharva Nadkarni beat Siddhant Sharma 11-9, 12-14, 7-11, 11-9, 11-7.
Sub-juniors boys finals: Keval Tamhankar beat Nandan Sacordekar 11-6, 11-5, 11-3.
President of Kreeda Prabhodini Avdut Prabhu Parriker spoke. Dr Susana D’Sousa, Director, DSYA was the chief guest at the prize distribution function.
After inspecting the gymnastics and other indoor games facility at the academy, Dr Susana spoke on motivation required in today’s sports.
Gen. Secretary, GTTA, Ashok Mhambrey, vice-president, Guru Pawasker, secretary Yogesh Kolwalker were also present.
