PANJIM: The Rosary High School, Cujira-Bambolim held its Athletic Meet, at the Athletic Stadium, Bambolim, recently.
Chetan Kavlekar was the chief guest for the function. The sports torch was lit by the Sports Captain Ashraf Aga and carried forward by sports achievers Isha Fernandes, Raul Fernandes, Rucha Bhobe and Vignesh Naidu in the presence of Headmistress, Sarita J. Carvalho, Assistant Headmistress, Alice Joan Goes, Manager Maria Regina Almeida, members of the Rosary Education Society (RES) & Committee members of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
Soumya Hede, head girl welcomed the gathering, while the Head boy Anant Mahambrey gave the vote of thanks .
100 mts and relay races followed and prizes were awarded to the winners.
The best sports man & woman were won by the following students in each category: sub-junior boys: Scheafer Antao, junior boys: Myron Cruz and senior boys: Vignesh Naidu. sub-junior girls: Oddy Correia, junior girls: Shivani Pillai and senior girls: Alicia Neto.
