MAPUSA/BENAULIM: Augustias SC registered a well deserved 3-1 win over Kelbai SC in the GFA’s Third Division Bardez Zone, played at Quitula sports ground, on Monday
.All the goals came in the second session of play.
Preito Tete put Augustias ahead with a neat placement in the 57th minute, with Mohammad Nadaf and Dupesh Shirodkar pumping in two more goals.
However Kelbai managed to reduce the margin in the 73rd minute through Sahil Naik to make it 3-1.
At Dando ground, Benaulim, St Rock’s YC of Calata Majorda blanked St Anthony’s SC, Colva, 3-0
Myron Pereira, Royston Correia and Ashley Mendes were the scorers.
Macazana Welfare Club defeated Davorlim SC by 4-2 goals in a match played at Chandor ground. Afileo Fernandes, Backdon Braganza, Godwin Mascarenhas and Len Fernandes netted for Macazana while Jovito Niasso and Mack Borges were the scorers for Davorlim SC.
