Auxilium, Don Bosco up

Don Bosco High School, Panjim routed Fr Agnel High School, Pilar 5-0 in the finals of Tiswadi Taluka Under-17 inter-school football tournament at Taleigao ground on Saturday. They led 2-0 at the break.
The highlight of the match was four goals, including a hat-trick, by striker Chikudi Chukuwama.
Chikudi Chukuwama opened the account for Don Bosco in the 15th minute and doubled the lead in the 30th minute.
Crossing over, Chikudi scored third goal in the 35th minute and fourth goal in the 37th minute.Pires Fernandes rounded off the tally in the 52nd minute.
In the Under-17 girls category, Auxillium High School, Caranzalem entered the finals defeating Our Lady of Rosary High School, Dona Paula 2-0. They led 1-0 at the interval.
Manisha Shirvaikar scored in the 32nd minute, while Sandra Santoshi netted in the 38th minute.
Yesterday, Auxillium High School, Caranzalem entered the semi-finals defeating Sharada Mandir High School, Mira Mar 3-1. Sharada Mandir led 1-0 in the first half.
Nikita Pinto opened the account for Sharada Mandir in the 12th minute.
Crossing over, Auxillium overpowered Sharada Mandir and scored three successive goals in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th minutes, through Nagma Sheikh, Manisha Shirvaikar and Karuna Kankonkar respectively.
Yesterday, in the under-17 boys football, Don Bosco High School, Panjim thrashed Santa Cruz High School, Santa Cruz 6-0 to move into the semi-finals.
The winners scored three goals each in each session.
Messias Gonsalves opened the account for Panjim, while Chikudi Chukuwama scored a brace.
After the interval,Chikudi Chukuwama, Nagesh Naik and Rinson Pereira scored a goal each.
