BENAULIM: Bab Bakery Boys, Benaulim defeated St. Rock Fatrade 3-1 via the tie-breaker and moved into the quarter-finals of the first all Goa Bab bakery football tournament in memory of late Anthony Fernandes, organised by Bab bakery Benaulim, at Xemu moll ground, Benaulim, on Monday.
Bab Bakery opened the score-line through Richard D’Sa in the 17th minute off a free-kick but the joy was short-lived as Syron equalised for St Rock Fatrade in the 29th minute.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Bab Bakery netted through Richard D’Sa and Darren Fernandes while no one found the net for St Rock Fatrade.
